Yandex has been added to the surveillance registry. Again
Description
"Over the course of this year, 9 Yandex services have been included in the register of Information Distribution Organizers (IDOs).
This status is given to Internet resources where users can send messages to each other or to administrators — primarily large ones.
The IDOs register is also called the “surveillance register” because the resources included there are required to store and decrypt user messages, and then share them with law enforcement agencies.
So, Yandex is spying on us? That can’t be!"
