Passkey: Passwordless authorization by location

"Passkey cannot be called a completely new authorization method, but given that today not many services use it, not many users know about this technology. On the other hand, the fact that Passkey is used by Google, Apple and partly by Microsoft speaks to the prospects of the technology.

From the user's point of view, Passkey is similar to two-factor authentication using a mobile phone, from which the first factor - entering a password - has been removed. In fact, the password exists in the form of a classic system of two keys - open and closed - it's just that the keys are exchanged without user intervention."
