The Most Terrifying Shutdown. How Russia Helps Kill Protesters in Iran

Duration: 14min 44sec Type: Standup

Description

At the end of last year, protests erupted in Iran: first demanding economic reforms, and later calling for regime change. The state responded with violence on an unprecedented scale — to date, tens of thousands of people have reportedly been killed by Iranian security forces. As it turned out, the Khamenei regime was assisted by Russian authorities, who exported to Iran the same censorship technologies used in the Russian internet.
