Towards Afro-Feminist Artificial Intelligence

Discussion of the report "Towards Afro-Feminist AI" in a webinar format. The report proposes a risk-based approach and Afro-feminist principles for regulating AI aimed at empowering women. A representative of the Ugandan Ministry of ICT emphasizes the importance of responsible use of AI. Issues of accessibility, usability, affordability of technologies and the need for coordinated implementation of the proposed policy are also discussed.
