José Pico and Fernando Perera: Wireless Keystroke Injection via Bluetooth LE
A DEF CON 30 talk about a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows that allows a remote attacker to impersonate a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) keyboard and inject keystrokes into a victim’s device.
The attack becomes possible after a legitimate BLE keyboard automatically disconnects due to inactivity. At that moment, an attacker can impersonate the keyboard and perform Wireless Key Injection.
