Duration: 21min 43sec Type: Panel (discussion)

Description

How to work with media literacy at the level of public policy and why grandchildren can be the best teachers for grandparents.

In the modern world, it is impossible to exist without media. How do media shape our thinking, behavior and understanding of reality? Why is media literacy not just a skill today, but a matter of survival? The hosts of the Mediums podcast Natalia Sokolenko and Vadim Misky talked about this with Marta Naumova, PhD in sociology, associate professor, senior researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; curator of the annual study "Media Literacy Index of the Ukrainian Audience" from the NGO "Media Detector".

As well as about media influence, the level of criticality of Ukrainians to content, information consumption during wartime, trust in the telethon, the growing role of telegram channels and the challenges posed by artificial intelligence.
