How We Were Manipulated in 2010–2021

How the environment of information manipulation in Ukraine was formed during the 2010s—before the full-scale war. We examine the key tools of influence: networks of “information dump” websites, microtargeting and data collection based on the Cambridge Analytica model, bots and “opinion leaders,” as well as the first waves of manipulation in messengers and Telegram.
